#21Every house needs those things, of course!

#22The workers also put bricks on the outside of the house.

#23The house looked almost finished from the outside.

#24But the inside wasn't ready yet.

#25The workers had to finish the bathrooms and kitchen.

#26The next part was the most fun for me.

#27I picked one of the rooms for my bedroom.

#28Then I got to paint it by myself!

#29Dad let me choose any color paint I wanted.

#30I picked blue since it's my favorite color.

#31In the backyard my parents and I planted bushes and flowers.

#32The yard already had a tall oak tree.

#33My brother and I hung a swing from one of its branches.

#34Whee!

#35Mom and Dad like to swing on it too!

#36Soon the inspector will come.

#37He will check everything to make sure the house is safe.

#38Now our house looks beautiful.

#39After we move in, we'll have a big party with our new neighbors.

#40Soon Dad's dream house will be our new home!
