#19I'm going to make so many mistakes.

#20Everyone is going to laugh at me.

#21Lily watched some public speaking tutorials online.

#22They all said basically the same thing: be prepared, be relaxed, and be confident.

#23In the morning Lily's stomach was in knots.

#24Maybe the school bus will get a flat tire, she thought.

#25Then I won't have to go to school.

#26An hour later Lily was in the school auditorium.

#27Everyone laughed as the Green Guys did a silly dance.

#28Even Lily was enjoying the show.

#29One Green Guy walked into the crowd of students.

#30He needed a volunteer.

#31All around Lily, kids raised their hands and shouted.

#32I'll volunteer!

#33Pick me!

#34Lily sank as low as she could, trying to be invisible.

#35She gulped when the Green Guy looked directly at her and waved her over.

#36Lily wanted to escape.

#37But everyone was staring at her.

#38Reluctantly she followed the Green Guy up onto the stage.

#39The Green Guy handed Lily a jar of jelly beans and then ran to the other end of the stage.

#40He opened his mouth and pointed at it.

#41Lily threw one of the jelly beans, and the Green Guy caught it in his mouth.

#42Everyone cheered.

#43Lily was amazed.

#44She threw another jelly bean, and the Green Guy caught that one too.

#45When Lily threw a third jelly bean, however, the Green Guy missed.

#46Oops!

#47Lily thought.

#48He messed up!

#49But the Green Guy didn't seem to care.

#50He was already waiting for the next jelly bean.

#51Lily quickly threw it.

#52The Green Guy caught it, and everyone cheered again.

#53He missed one, Lily thought, and the audience barely noticed.

#54The jelly beans looked good, so Lily ate one.

#55The Green Guy put his hands on his hips and pretended to be angry.

#56Trying not to giggle, Lily pretended to be angry too.

#57Everyone in the audience laughed.

#58This is kind of fun, Lily thought.

#59Now the Green Guy was staring at her.

#60He squinted as if he were wondering what Lily would do next.

#61Lily stared back, grabbed a jelly bean, and ate it.

#62The audience exploded with laughter as the Green Guy waved his arms around, pretending to be furious.

#63A moment later Lily and the Green Guy bowed.

#64As Lily returned to her seat, everyone applauded and cheered for her.

#65Sandeep clapped her on the back.

#66You were awesome!

#67Lily beamed.

#68She thought about her presentation on icebergs and realized something: she wasn't nervous about making a mistake anymore!
