#28The picture glowed brighter, and the children's eyes closed.

#29Soon they were spinning down the dark tunnel.

#30Mandy and Vinnie fell onto soft soil.

#31They could hear shouts and laughter.

#33asked Mandy, standing up.

#34They were in a small village.

#35People were running around laughing.

#36Two women hurried over to the children, holding small cups.

#37They splashed Vinnie with colored water.

#40screamed Vinnie.

#41The front of his shirt was soaked bright red.

#42He rubbed at the wet stain.

#43Everyone is splashing each other, Mandy said, looking around.

#44The street was filled with people holding cups.

#45Laughing loudly, they chased each other, throwing colored water.

#46What's going on?

#47asked Vinnie.

#48A boy splashed Mandy.

#49Hey! cried Mandy.

#50Her sleeve and part of her arm were stained purple.

#51The boy set down his cup and put his hands together in front of his chest.

#52Hello, he said, bowing slightly.

#53His face, arms, and clothes were soaked in many bright colors.

#54The children imitated the boy's greeting.

#55Vinnie introduced himself and Mandy.
