#21He stepped closer to the moat.

#22The water looked dark and murky.

#23Then Tom spotted something.

#24I see the royal crown! he called.

#25The others peered into the water.

#26All I need is a net, Tom said.

#27He waved his wand.

#28Ah, cried Dirk.

#29Poof! Ack! cried Dirk. Oops, said Tom.

#30Everyone was wearing hairnets now!

#31Princess Mary giggled a little.

#32But Dirk was angry.

#33He ripped off his hairnet.

#34You idiot, Tom!

#35I'm sorry, Princess, Tom said.

#36Just get the crown! Dirk yelled.

#37Now!

#38Suddenly—splash!

#39A sound came from the moat.

#40Tom looked in the water and gasped.

#41Are those—?

#42Yes!

#43Dirk grinned.

#44They're crocodiles.

#45Hungry, hungry crocodiles!
