#29He moved to the other end of the bench.

#31He whistled a few notes.

#32Then he slowly raised his head.

#33The marble lady was staring right into his eyes.

#34AJ shivered and looked away.

#35Why did they leave me alone?

#37I'm an Earthworm too.

#38Then he heard a voice.

#41Hello?

#42Aaay-Jaay.

#43Who's there?

#44he whispered.

#45AJ!

#46Over here!

#47Bring the bag!

#48AJ jumped to his feet.

#49Emily! he shouted and ran down the pathway into the fog.

#50He found the Earthworms at the edge of the cemetery near a dark grove of pine trees.

#51They were gathered around an old gravestone.

#52This is it—1859, said Katie.

#53AJ stared at the stone.

#54Now that we've found it, what do we do?

#55Put it in our bag?

#56HA! said Katie.

#57No, silly, said Emily to her brother.

#58We make a crayon rubbing.

#59We better hurry, said Luke.

#60The sun is going down fast.

#61Katie unrolled the paper.

#62Luke and AJ, hold the top.

#63She held out her hand to Emily.

#64Crayon, please.

#65Katie placed the side of the crayon on the paper and began rubbing.

#66The words on the gravestone began to appear: EMILY DEAR WIFE OF AJ looked over his shoulder.

#69There's something in the trees.

#70The Earthworms listened.

#76Something is moving in there!
