Danh sách câu trong bài (46 câu):

#1You probably recognize my face—or at least my golden mask.
#2Most people know me as King Tut from ancient Egypt.
#3But my real name is Tutankhamun.
#4I became an Egyptian pharaoh, or king, when I was about nine years old.
#5But my reign was not long.
#6I was only 19 when I died from an unknown cause.
#7My people buried me in a tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
#8That's where many other pharaohs were buried.
#9I was an important king, and I made many big changes to Egypt.
#10But people soon forgot about me, and I was lost for over three thousand years!
#11Then, in 1922, a British archaeologist named Howard Carter discovered my tomb.
#12Carter and his team were amazed by what they found.
#13The rooms of my tomb were filled with thousands of objects.
#14That was because we ancient Egyptians believed the dead needed things for the afterlife.
#15With me, I had golden chariots, furniture, food, wine— even underwear!
#16My coffin was made of solid gold.
#17It took Carter ten years to remove everything from my tomb.
#18People were excited about Carter's discovery.
#19Mine was the most complete pharaoh's tomb ever found.
#20Other tombs had been robbed of valuable objects.
#21In fact, robbers had actually broken into my tomb twice!
#22But they weren't able to steal very much.
#23The contents of my tomb were displayed at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
#24Later some objects traveled across the world.
#25In 1939, two of my trumpets were played on the radio.
#26I hope the audience enjoyed the concert.
#27I heard that 150 million people were listening!
#28The most famous treasure from my tomb was the golden mask on my mummy.
#29Originally, this mask wasn't meant for me at all!
#30It had first been made for a different pharaoh.
#31But when I died, it was used on me instead.
#32The mask had to be changed though.
#33The original owner's face was removed from the front of the mask.
#34Then a new face that looked like mine was placed on the mask.
#35My name was written over the original owner's name.
#36Other objects—maybe even the tomb itself—were probably meant for someone else too.
#37Most pharaohs had large, grand tombs.
#38But mine is small and simple.
#39Archaeologists think my death was sudden and unexpected.
#40So they believe a grander tomb wasn't ready when I died.
#41Today I'm known as the most famous pharaoh from ancient Egypt.
#42But much about me still remains a mystery.
#43For example, nobody is exactly sure how I died.
#44Maybe one day someone will find out.
#45I believe people will be interested in my life for many years to come.
#46I have plenty of secrets waiting to be discovered!
