#21Well, I don't want to play baseball.

#22Hooray! the girls scream.

#23And I don't want to play soccer, Mike says.

#24Everyone is quiet.

#25You don't want to play baseball, and you don't want to play soccer?

#26Mr. Rabinovich asks.

#27Well, Mike, what do you want to play?

#28Mike looks at the girls.

#29They are not happy.

#30Then Mike looks at the boys.

#31They are not happy either.

#32Come on, Mike, one of the boys says.

#33Do you want to play baseball or soccer?

#34I want to play kickball, Mike says.

#35You want to play kickball?

#36one of the girls asks.

#37Yes, Mike says.

#38That's stupid, one of the boys says.

#39He can't choose kickball, one of the girls says.

#40He can only pick baseball or soccer.

#41The boys and girls start yelling.

#42Everyone is angry except for Mr. Rabinovich and Mike.

#43Okay, that's enough yelling, Mr. Rabinovich says.

#44We're going to play a game of kickball.

#45So pick your teams.

#46The students pick their teams.

#47There are three boys and four girls on one team.

#48There are three girls and four boys on the other team.

#49Mike is the only student not on a team.

#50We don't want him on our team, the team with three boys and four girls say.

#51We don't want him either, the other team says.

#52Now children, says Mr. Rabinovich.

#53We asked Mike to choose a game to play.

#54He chose kickball.

#55Let him play too.

#56But Mike, next time, remember that you can't play what you want.

#57So Mr. Rabinovich joins one team and Mike joins the other.
