#22While Mom bought some meat for dinner, Cassie waited outside.

#23I wanted to take you everywhere, Max, she said sadly.

#24But everyone says, 'No dogs are allowed!' Max looked up and licked her face.

#25Let's walk home through the park, Mom said.

#26Suddenly Max sniffed the air.

#27I think he wants us to follow him, Cassie said.

#28Max ran through the park.

#29Cassie heard loud barking.

#30Then Max stopped near a tall fence.

#31Cassie read the sign on the gate: Friendly Dogs Welcome.

#32Yay!

#33It's a dog park!

#34she cried.

#35Dogs are welcome here!

#36She bent down to hug her new pet.

#37I guess I can't take you everywhere, Max.

#38But we can always come here together!

#39Woof!

#40Max barked happily.
