#37When they got to the attic, the children let out a long sigh.

#45The old man was standing by a table with a small black machine on it.

#46A woman was holding something and it was glowing.

#47It looks like a sewing machine, remarked Mandy.

#48But what's glowing?

#49Vinnie looked at the photo.

#50Some kind of curtain, I think.

#51Before he could look more closely, the children fell down the dark tunnel.

#52Mandy landed on soft grass, and Vinnie fell beside her.

#53A crowd was gathered nearby.

#54Where are we?

#55Mandy asked, dusting off her clothes.

#56She wore a pretty pink dress with ribbons.

#57Vinnie looked down at his pants.

#58They came just to his knees.

#59He wore long socks and black shoes.

#60I don't know, Vinnie began, but he was interrupted by music.

#61The children ran to join the crowd.

#62Everyone was standing in front of a very large, carved marble arch.

#63Behind the arch was a huge building with many columns.

#64The flag on that arch looks familiar, said Mandy.

#65Mandy!

#66Vinnie cried excitedly.

#67I think we're in— Before Vinnie could finish, someone grabbed Mandy.

#68There you are!

#69a young woman shouted.
