#44She giggled and covered her mouth.

#45The children followed Seiko and soon they came to a busy street.

#46Farmers pushed their carts down the road.

#47Women in colorful kimonos tiptoed by, whispering and giggling.

#52One side of the street had only bookstores.

#53Shops on the other side sold only things made of straw.

#55It's easy to find what you want, said Vinnie.

#56Seiko took them to a shop selling straw hats, mats, and shoes.

#57This is my aunt's shop, said Seiko, handing the children two pairs of straw sandals.

#59The sandals fit perfectly, but they looked funny with the children's silk kimono.
