#2hen Glumdalclitch went out one day, Wshe left me in my bedroom box in her room.

#35Grildig is going to fall off the roof! cried another.

#36Glumdalclitch was sobbing and had her hands over her eyes.

#37She did not want to see my horrible death.

#38By this time, some servants had brought ladders and had climbed onto the roof.

#39The monkey held me calmly in one paw and took something out of its mouth with the other.

#40It was some food, and the monkey tried to put it into my mouth.

#41It really did think I was its baby!

#42I said.

#43Get that away from me.

#44I don't want your chewed food.

#45Below, people started to laugh, but I was terrified of falling off the roof.

#46Save me!

#47I cried.
