#30What does everyone else do? Izzy asked.

#31You have to freeze when you hear Spud. Bobby said.

#32Izzy nodded. Let's play.

#33Everyone started running around Ethan.

#34He threw the ball into the air. Five.

#35That's me. Jason cried. He caught the ball and yelled. Spud.

#36Everyone froze. Jason, take three giant steps toward any player.

#37Then throw the ball. Michelley said. Jason grinned.

#38Can I throw it at Bobby? Bobby grinned back.

#39If you miss me or I catch it, you get an S.

#40Once you get S-P-U-D, you're out of the game.

#41Michelley said. Jason took three steps and threw the ball.

#42Bobby caught it. S for Jason.

#43Everyone ran around until Bobby threw the ball.

#44Two. That was Nina's number.

#45She caught the ball and called. Spud.

#46Then she threw it at Ethan, but she missed him.

#47S for me. Nina said. Your turn to throw, Ethan.

#48When it was Bobby's turn to throw again, he yelled.

#49Thirteen. Huh? Everyone froze.

#50Bobby laughed. Thirteen is a ghost number.

#51That means everyone runs for the ball and touches it.

#52The last one to reach the ball gets a letter.

#53Ethan was the first player to get S-P-U-D.

#54He sat on a bench. When Izzy got out next, she headed toward Ethan.

#55Then she spotted something in the grass. Whoa! Five dollars!

#56Izzy and Ethan showed the money to Michelley.

#57Take it to the office. Michelley said.

#58If no one has reported losing it, you can keep it, Izzy.

#59I'll give it to Ethan. Izzy said.

#60For his snowboard. Ethan grinned.

#61Thanks, Izzy. Soon only Jason and Bobby were left in the game.

#62Jason was the thrower. 99!

#63Bobby froze.

#64Jason laughed. Ghost number, Bobby. You were supposed to run for the ball.

#65Oops! Bobby groaned. You win!

#66Everyone gave Jason a high five.

#67On the way back inside, Ethan noticed some clouds.

#68A chilly breeze whipped the trees.

#69Hmm, Ethan thought. Maybe winter isn't over yet.
