#25Mr. Dunn smiled.

#28Izzie nodded.

#29They look homemade.

#30What's in them?

#31Ethan wanted to know.

#32We'll find out at the end of the game, said Mr. Dunn.

#33Now who wants to play fri st?

#34Bobby and Izzie raised their hands.

#35Okay, you two, stand behind this line.

#36Bobby, you can be X, and Izzie, you'll be O.

#37You can go first, Bobby told Izzie.

#39She tossed her beanbag to the far-right corner of the board.

#41He tossed his bag to the space beneath her bag.

#42Ethan noticed two more beanbags by Mr. Dunn's feet.

#47He turned back to the board.

#49he said, clapping.

#50Izzie had gotten her three O's in a row.

#53The winner gets to play again.

#55Mr. Dunn asked.

#58He stepped up to the line.

#61Jason rolled his eyes and tossed his beanbag onto the board.

#62Meanwhile Ethan picked up an extra beanbag.

#63The beans inside felt a little soft.

#64They were definitely not regular beans.

#65Ethan sniffed the bag.

#68Tic-tac-toe, three in a row!

#69Izzie cried.

#70Nina, it's your turn!

#71As Nina stepped up to the line, Ethan untied the beanbag.

#72He emptied it into his mouth.

#75This bag has a hole in it!

#76Don't worry, we have extra bags.

#77And no peeking at the filling yet, Nina, Mr. Dunn said.

#78Ethan, please toss me the extra O bag.

#79Ethan looked at the empty beanbag in his hand.

#80It had an O.

#81I can't, Mr. Dunn, said Ethan.

#82I ate all the beans inside!

#83Ethan!

#84Mr. Dunn scolded him.

#85You didn't listen to me!

#86But they were jelly beans!

#87Ethan said.

#88Delicious jelly beans!

#89You ruined the game, Ethan!

#91That's okay, Izzie said quickly.
