#28For the first activity, we have to work as a team, Miss Shelly said.

#30She stepped into the circle between Izzie and Jason.

#31She joined hands with Jason.

#32Before she took Izzie's hand, she put her arm through a hula hoop.

#33We're going to pass the hula hoop around the circle.

#34But we can't let go of each other's hands, Miss Shelly said.

#35What?

#36How will we pass it?

#37Izzie asked.

#38Miss Shelly smiled.

#39You'll figure it out.

#40Miss Shelly lowered her shoulder.

#41The hula hoop slipped down to Izzie's left arm.

#42Izzie put her head through it.

#43Then she wriggled the rest of her body through.

#44She stepped out of it and it was on her right arm!

#45I did it!

#46she squealed.

#47Nina, your turn!

#48Nina did what Izzie did.

#49Soon the hoop was around Bobby's arm.

#50Bobby moved it to Ethan.

#51Ethan moved it to Jason, and Jason moved it to Miss Shelly.

#52It made a full circle!

#53We did it!

#54Jason cried.

#55Everyone cheered.

#56What did you have to do to stay together?

#57Miss Shelly asked.

#58Bobby spoke up.

#59I had to watch whenever Nina moved.

#60If she bent down, I had to bend down too.

#61Izzie nodded.

#62The hardest part was not letting go of each other's hands.

#65Very soon, Miss Shelly said.

#66Roll your hula hoop on the blacktop.

#68Izzie took off her jacket and shivered.
