#34I wonder what we're doing with them.

#35We're going to make window decorations, Miss Shelly said.

#36First we'll seal them in wax paper.

#37Then we'll hang them on a string, Miss Shelly said.

#41Put your leaves on one piece of wax paper.

#42Make sure they are at least four centimeters apart.

#43Then put another piece of wax paper on top.

#45I'll iron them, Miss Shelly said.

#46Perfect, Izzie said, looking at her leaves.

#48Those look pretty, Izzie, Nina said.

#50I'm ready for ironing, she said.

#52Miss Shelly carefully placed Nina's wax paper on the ironing board.

#53She covered it with a rag and started to iron.

#78Now punch a hole near the stems.

#79Then thread a long piece of string through each leaf.

#80And finally tie knots on each end of the string, Miss Shelly said.

#81Can we hang them up now?

#82Nina asked.

#83Izzie, hang yours above mine!

#84Nina said.

#85Izzie jumped up.

#86Your colored ones actually don't look that bad, she said, grinning.

#87Nina smiled at her best friend.
